OnePan is a small, unincorporated cooking project. We try to collect as little as possible and we never sell your data.

What we collect

  • Anonymous usage analytics via Vercel Analytics — page views and performance metrics. No personal identifiers.
  • X (Twitter) Pixel events — only if you accept marketing cookies in the banner. Used to measure ad performance for the OnePan campaign on X.
  • Local state by default — your favorites, recipe progress, people count, and your cookie choice live in localStorage on your device. They never leave your browser unless you sign in.
  • Optional account (magic link) — if you sign in on the profile screen, OnePan stores your email and a per-user history of which recipes you've seen, liked, and cooked in our Supabase database, so it can sync across your devices. You can sign out any time; ask us to delete your account and we will.

Cookies and similar storage

OnePan uses two kinds of browser storage:

  • Essential — localStorage entries for your favorites, current recipe step, people count, and your saved cookie choice. No consent required because the app cannot function without them and they never leave your device.
  • Marketing (opt-in) — when you accept, OnePan loads the X (Twitter) Pixel from static.ads-twitter.com. X may then set cookies on its own domains (t.co, x.com) to measure ad conversions. This is governed by X's privacy policy. If you reject, the Pixel never loads and no marketing cookies are set.

What we don't collect

  • Phone numbers or payment info.
  • Your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
  • Data about you across other websites or apps.
  • Your email or recipe history, unless you choose to sign in.

Your rights

OnePan is operated from the Netherlands and follows the GDPR. You can ask us to confirm, correct, or delete any data we may hold, and you can object to processing or withdraw cookie consent at any time. To clear local data, clear site data in your browser or reinstall the app.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above will update. Continued use of OnePan after a change means you accept it.
